The Town of Halifax, NC is pursuing a grant through the NC Complete the Trails Program that could bring an exciting new opportunity to our community!
If awarded, the project goal is to create a walking trail and overlook along the Roanoke River, giving residents and visitors a beautiful new way to experience Historic Halifax.
But we need your support!
Join us and our partners at Town Hall on Wednesday, September 30th, from 5:00–7:00pm for a floating Public Meeting to learn more about the grant program, hear about the proposed project, and find out how your voice and support can help strengthen our application.
This is an opportunity to shape the future of Halifax by reconnecting us to our history, natural resources, and the river that put us on the map!
We hope to see you there!
