TOWN COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING
& BUDGET HEARING
A copy of the Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2022 – 2023 for the Town of Halifax has been presented to the Halifax Town Board of Commissioners and is available in the Town’s Clerk’s Office for public inspection. A public hearing will be held by the Commissioners at a Special Meeting scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 21, 2022, at Town Hall. Citizens are invited to make written or oral comments.

The proposed budget keeps the current levied tax rate of sixty-six (.66) cents per one hundred dollars ($100.00) valuation. Water & Sewer rates will remain the same as adopted by the Board in April 2021.
