Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2025 – 2026 PUBLIC NOTICE TOWN COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING & BUDGET HEARING
The Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2025 – 2026 for the Town of Halifax has been presented to the Halifax Town Board of Commissioners and is available at Town Hall on King Street for public inspection. A public hearing will be held by the Commissioners at a Special Meeting scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tursday June 19, 2025, at Town Hall. Citizens are invited to make written or oral comments.

The proposed budget keeps the tax rate of sixty-two (62) cents per one hundred dollars ($100.00) valuation from the previous fiscal year. All other fees and water and sewer rates remain at the current rate.
